Over the last decade we’ve spent building patios and driveways throughout the North West, we’ve encountered an increasing demand for other landscaping services delivered to the high standards that characterise Creative Concrete. That’s why we now provide artificial grass installation for domestic and commercial clients not just in Manchester, but nearby locations like Liverpool, Stockport and Warrington.
Below, we’ve run over a few of the core reasons why an increasingly number of property owners are opting to include artificial grass as a central element in their landscaping scheme. We also provide a brief rundown of different options you have, and how our team goes about the installation process.
Looks Great Year Round - Natural turf is totally dependent on the season, verdant, lush and vibrant in the summer months, but with an often slightly pale and sickly look when the cold snap hits. With artificial grass, homeowners around Liverpool, Manchester, Stockport and Warrington get a reliable, consistent look that can’t be conquered by seasonal shifts. Every time you lay your eyes on it, it’ll look its very best, even when neighbours’ lawns seem to be on their last legs!
Low Maintenance - Caring for lawns and keeping them in good shape can suck a lot of time out of your month; from weeding, to feeding the lawn and mowing it to your tastes, to watering it and all the rest. Artificial grass provides an almost maintenance-free alternative. Simply keep it free of leaves and other detritus by giving it a rake from time to time, and hose it down to rid it of dirt and pollutants. No fertilisers, no weeds, no mowing means more time our Liverpool, Manchester, Stockport and Warrington clients can spend actually enjoying their lawns.
Anti-Allergen - One of the main issues our customers complain of is allergens lurking within their lawns, causing them, their children or pets to retreat indoors with noses running. Artificial grass can deliver you a lifelike lawn that won’t fight back, and circumvent the growth of the kinds of pollen and spore producing intruders that can make life outside miserable.
Keep in mind that there are many different options you have when opting for artificial grass. By choosing the density of the pile, its height and its colour, you’ll be sure to find something that perfectly suits your space. The Creative Concrete team helps residents and trades around Liverpool, Manchester, Stockport and Warrington navigate our product catalogue to find something they absolutely love, whether they want something clipped with a very short pile, or something a bit longer that they can really sink their toes into.
So how is artificial grass installed? Firstly, we excavate the current lawn and lay a sub-base. With our experience working in the construction sector, we take this stage seriously and never cut corners, working with quality Type 1 aggregates to ensure a long-lasting installation, capable of standing up to heavy daily usage. We then lay in the artificial grass around a timber perimeter frame, before securing it with nails. This process is far more reliable, and of a higher standard than what’s referred to as “sand in-fill” installations, which are simply weighed down and not secured.
